My 'Happiness No Man Required' Podcast Soon to Come

Big news! My new podcast, “When Satan Goes to Church” is now out on all the platforms like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Audible, etc. Give it a listen while in traffic! Plesse rate it and “subscribe,” so as not to miss an episode.

New episodes will be added each Sunday, beginning this Sunday. In addition, thanks to an experience I have had recently, I plan to start another podcast called “Happiness No Man Required” (the title of my book) for single women. There are too many dishonest men in the world today for women not to know how to protect themselves.

I also plan to say things in this coming podcast like how wonderful it feels to any normal woman to be able to respect a man. It is just that you cannot respect them when they are no longer worthy of your respect...For most women today the old Jazz standard, “Someone to Watch Over Me” is a fable but true, thank God, when it comes to God’s love, which these podcasts will be about.

I do know good men, and they are in my life to stay as friends. They are the ones who never have a motive to mislead or do me wrong. That’s a friend, and that is a good man.

I will be recording part two next week also to my “Dwayna Litz Testimony” podcast (about all God has helped me overcome) and then will be moving on to these other podcasts.

Part two of my testimony will hopefully be just as interesting as part one in my wonderful and fulfilling “Honest Life,” where my life is about all I can accomplish, as I continue to pour myself into my work, writing and sharing about all that comes along to touch my heart in life, and I would not have it any other way!

Orange County Convention Center Southern Women's Show October 2018

I enjoyed seeing old friends and making new ones in Orlando, FL, at the Orange County Convention Center at the Southern Women's Show where I sold my books for women a couple of weeks ago. Below are some of the photos. In one of the photos, you will see I met two young girls pregnant by the same guy, which was a first for me. Needless to say, when they could not afford my book, I gave them one. I used to live in Orlando as a teen, and it had been many years since I had been there. It was really nice being back in Florida again, and, as usual, as I encouraged the women there, they encouraged me.

Testimonial on my Book for Women

I am so thankful for this nice comment from Instagram, and I am posting it with permission:

“I had to share about this amazing woman we met up with at the 2018 National Down Syndrome Conference last month. Her current book is entitled ‘Happiness - No Man Required.’ It might seem strange for a happily married woman to share out about this book, but I can tell you that I wish I’d had it in my twenties, after a series of “not-so-great” relationships. A wonderful read for any woman struggling with being single. Not only a gifted writer, there’s not much this woman doesn’t do! As a health coach, she helps others see the benefit of eating right and exercising. She runs her own non-profit, Lighting The Way, that works to help the needy internationally. A gifted singer, she’s recorded in a number of genres, including Jazz, Country, Pop and Christian music. Her book, and music, are available through Amazon and Barnes and Noble. We loved meeting Dwayna and seeing her passion for the Down syndrome community. Wishing you more success and hope to see you again soon, Dwayna!”

Sold Out at the National Down syndrome Convention

Western night and more, with new friends at the National Down syndrome Convention last week in Dallas. And, yes, it was as fun as it looks!

I left a far better and richer person than when I came. I sold out of my book for women, Happiness No Man Required: 50 Tips for Single Women to be Happy With or Without a Man, as I spoke with many women who have been divorced after having a child with Down Syndrome. Atheist Richard Dawkins says that anyone with Down syndrome does not deserve to live. He has obviously never known the joy that someone with DS has and gives to others, other people like me.

I also enjoyed sharing my music with people with Down syndrome and their families. The week ended up extending the work of my Christian nonprofit organization, Lighting the Way, and health coaching, too.

Here is a song that I co-wrote years ago with Jayne Olderman, now posting it in dedication to anyone with Down syndrome, available on Soundcloud, Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, iTunes, Amazon and CD Baby, "I've Got a Feeling About You."

I am planning to sell my book to all of the tourists in the Smokies tomorrow after the eclipse in Gatlinburg.
