Brazil and Spain Playing Dwayna Litz's "Maybe"

Thank you, Radio Caviar Musical in Spain for playing Dwayna Litz's "Maybe" and thank you, Acoustic Journeys in Brazil!

"Dwayna has bottled that perfect retro-country magic - from the warm, vintage tones to the wistful storytelling that lingers like golden hour light. As a recurring artist we play, she consistently delivers that rare presence and spirit and fresh authenticity we crave. The way her vocals dance with those twangy guitar licks creates an instant classic feel that our listeners adore." --Acoustic Journeys, Brazil

"Dwayna Litz’s 'Maybe' captures the tender hesitation of a new affair"

(Also being played in rotation on "Saddle Up It's Country Time" out of Los Angeles, CA)

Review from Zillions Magazine:

Dwayna Litz's new single, "Maybe," captures the feeling of falling in love with a simplicity that feels personal, much like reading a handwritten letter. The music has a smooth, inviting quality that makes you feel cozy, like a gentle breeze on a warm day. "Maybe" transcends being just a love of music. It captures a truly special moment. It's about that brief pause when you meet someone new and sense that spark of possibility.

With her warm voice, Litz transports listeners to a place of openness and curiosity. The music embodies the spirit of Nashville right from the start. Recorded at the legendary Ocean Way studio, it has a strong musical background. The gentle guitar by B. James Lowry and the melodic piano by Jeff Taylor creates a lovely sound. Tim Crouch's fiddle and mandolin add a special touch, while Dennis Crouch keeps the beat on bass. Background singers Monte Allen and Suzanne Young provide harmonious support that perfectly complements Dwayna without overshadowing her.

At the heart of the song is Dwayna's voice, which tells the story beautifully. She sings with emotion, pulling at your heartstrings with grace. You can feel the yearning in her words when she sings. Rather than being an over-the-top love ballad, it's a gentle admission of feelings that's sweet and a little nervous, perfectly balanced on the edge of something new. Written by Dwayna Litz and Laura Vida, "Maybe" reflects the dance between hope and doubt, dreams and uncertainties. It doesn't force answers. It expresses emotions. In a world that often seeks to have everything neatly defined, this song's ambiguity feels refreshingly genuine.

Reviews for Dwayna Litz's "Maybe"

“...Maybe’ feels like a heart’s whisper in the quiet before love speaks out loud, and that’s the magic of Dwayna Litz; her ability to make the small feelings feel infinite. For longtime listeners, this track is a welcome return. For those new to her music, it is a perfect introduction to the kind of artist Dwayna is: elegant, honest, and unwaveringly in tune with the heart’s tenderest moments.” — Songweb.net

"...Dwayna Litz’s talent for conveying the complexities of new love with warmth and honesty sets her apart as an artist to keep an eye on. In a world filled with bold declarations of love, 'Maybe' reminds us that sometimes, the most powerful feelings are found in the uncertainties and gentle pauses of romance. A Song in Response to the Riots in America

Not only is rain scheduled for this Saturday, but it may not be safe to be out, so we may not be able to do outreach this Saturday to underprivileged kids with my nonprofit organization, thanks to all of these riots scheduled in cities across America.

I am posting this song I wrote as a response to all of these riots and to so much anarchy and for more peace and civility within our cities.

It is on all streaming platforms and also YouTube.

Dwayna Litz's "Maybe"

“Maybe” is a song about falling in love. It depicts the surprise of meeting someone new and how, in the beginning throws of chemistry, you ask yourself, “Is this for real?”

“Maybe.”

Dwayna Litz pours her heart into this song about the present, the future and looking back. “I better sit down and catch my breath…If this isn’t real, then what can I believe?” It’s a peaceful flow, caught up in the vulnerability of loving someone forever—just “maybe.”

Guitars: B. James Lowry/ Piano: Jeff Taylor/ Fiddle, Mandolin: Tim Crouch/ Bass: Dennis Crouch/ Background vocals: Monte Allen and Suzanne Young/Recorded at Ocean Way in Nashville/ Recording Engineer: Travis Humbert/ Mixing Engineer: Billy Decker
